The Tiger way
Developing Character The ‘Tiger Way’ is designed to develop the character of our pupils by clearly defining the behaviours and habits we expect them to demonstrate. We believe that instilling values such as politeness, respect, resilience, and citizenship is essential in shaping our pupils into well-rounded individuals. Our aim is to support each child in growing into a responsible adult who contributes positively to society.
Our school rules are Ready, Respectful and Safe.
Safe
The safe element is taught across school-life. These approaches include: Assemblies, SMSC, Online Safety, PSHE and RSE.
- We also focus on staying safe in the practical sense through moving safely around school and keeping safe on the playground.
- We have a zero tolerance policy on bullying, in order to keep all children safe. We have a bullying investigation procedure that is follow if a concern is made that includes a robust follow-up system.
- We work closely with a range of partners to ensure our children are taught what safe and good relationships are, how to stay safe and what to do when they don’t feel safe.
- The most important relationship is our relationship with our children and their parents. We are open and honest and non-judgemental.
