This academic year, we will be establishing an Eco-Committee made up of one child from each class, alongside staff representatives. Together, they will represent their peers at regular meetings, share ideas, and help to implement new initiatives across the school.

The Eco-Committee will meet fortnightly to discuss ongoing projects and to brainstorm ideas for future initiatives. They will review everyday activities within the school and consider the changes we can make as a whole school community to better support and protect our environment. This will include supporting the school in making more eco-friendly choices and promoting sustainable practices across all areas of school life.

Throughout the year the Eco-Committee will monitor and evaluate progress.  Where possible, the Eco-Committee will also seek opportunities to support the local community through eco-focused initiatives and partnerships.
